Community-funded since day one

Every kid who wants to play
gets to play.

Valley Titans is a youth basketball club built on volunteer coaches and donated gym time. We keep dues low on purpose, and we cover them entirely for families who can't swing it. That only works because people give.

Building athletes. Building character. Building community.

Our mission

At Valley Titans Youth Basketball Club, our mission is to inspire, develop, and empower young athletes through the game of basketball. We are committed to providing a positive, competitive, and family-oriented environment where every player is encouraged to grow in skill, confidence, discipline, and character.

We believe basketball is more than a game. It is an opportunity to teach teamwork, leadership, accountability, and perseverance. Our coaches are dedicated to mentoring each athlete, helping them reach their full potential both on and off the court.

As a nonprofit organization, we strive to create opportunities for every child to learn, compete, and belong. At Valley Titans, we are building more than athletes. We are building confident young leaders, lifelong friendships, and a community that feels like family.

Why we're asking

A single season for one player costs the club about $400 once you add up gym rental, referees, league registration, uniforms, and travel to tournaments. We charge families a fraction of that, and nothing at all when a family tells us they're stretched.

Nobody here draws a salary, and we don't own a gym. It's coaches taking the 6am rental slot because that's the one we can afford, and parents driving four kids who aren't theirs. Donations close the gap between what families can pay and what a season actually costs.

How to give

  1. Open your banking app and find Zelle (most banks have it built in).
  2. Send to: valleytitansybc@gmail.com
  3. Put "Donation" in the memo so we can thank you properly.

Want to give monthly? Most banking apps let you schedule a repeating Zelle payment. Gym rent is a monthly bill, so monthly gifts help the most.

Valley Titans Youth Basketball Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-4712233). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Every dollar goes directly to player costs.

Questions

Where exactly does my money go?

Gym rental first. It's our largest expense by far. Then league and tournament registration, referee fees, uniforms, and scholarships for families who request them. No one at the club draws a salary.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. We're a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 41-4712233. Keep your payment record, and we're happy to send a written acknowledgment for your records. For gifts of $250 or more, the IRS requires one, so email us and we'll get it to you.

Can I give monthly instead?

Yes. Most banking apps let you schedule a repeating Zelle payment. Monthly giving is the most useful kind for us, because gym rent is a monthly bill.

Can I sponsor a specific player?

We keep scholarship recipients anonymous to protect families' privacy, but you can earmark a gift for the scholarship fund. Email us and we'll set it up.
